Washi, literally "Japanese paper", is made from three main materials, kozo, mitsumata and gampi. The washi is obtained after extracting the fiber from each of these barks. The artisans of Echizen, in Fukui Prefecture, have been perpetuating traditional Japanese paper know-how for more than 1,500 years. This set of washi paper cards is ideal for writing a message, a thought or to use as a business card.
